He was the manager and entomologist for El Dorado County Vector Control in South Lake Tahoe, CA for over 12 years. The company has been providing contract mosquito pest control and consultation since 1982.  Their current clients include Black Butte Ranch, OR and Washington County, OR.

Glenn Bissell has designed larviciding programs for many different situations, ranging from snowmelt mosquito problems in Lake Tahoe, CA; Kirkwood, CA and Bear Valley, CA to pasture mosquitoes in Prineville and Baker City, OR to catchbasin mosquitoes in Washington Co. OR.
